Thoughts on Thanksgiving From Your Favorite Hot Mess

I know, I know, your favorite hot mess hasn't been on here keeping everyone entertained for the past week but yes, even porn stars get sick and it is absolutely no fun! The past week I have pretty much been looking like a thanksgiving turkey sitting there on a platter doing nothing but looking pretty, I have barely been able to even workout so you know my mind is going crazy as my routine is thrown off! With myself and my daughter both having flu and upper respiratory symptoms this past week and finally beginning to show improvement, I really haven't had any energy to do much of anything though I must do another review and interview right here on Xcritic as well as write my next column for AInews.

My thanksgiving was decent besides my being sick and this having been the first year I have known I need to stay away from gluten laced dishes and I am extremely thankful that my family made many gluten-free dishes and I was able to find a gluten-free pie crust so I could enjoy my FAVORITE pie ever, Pumpkin! I love Thanksgiving but I do believe that people should be more thankful every day of the year because if you are reading this right now you are truly blessed more than most of the world's population, most of the world doesn't have decent food or shelter let alone technology. You are sitting here on a computer, tablet or other device reading this which means you are extremely blessed and I hope everyone out there is super thankful EVERYDAY for everything that they have because even if you aren't fully satisfied with the way your life is at this point, you may think "I live in a little studio apartment and am living paycheck to paycheck." At least you have that paycheck and shelter, I am a strong believer that everyone should give what they can to those less fortunate. $10, $1, even 50 cents is helpful so I would like to take this time to encourage EVERYONE to skip on just ONE treat this week (one cup of coffee, one candy bar or something!) to donate to their local homeless shelter, even if you haven't a penny to your name to share you always can donate your time to help out. If you are a fellow Las-Vegan , I would suggest the Las Vegas Rescue Mission if you are not anywhere near the Las Vegas area I am sure if you Google "Your City Name Here Homeless Shelter" you will find a local place to donate monetarily or with just your time.

Well, I just wanted to share a quick update and say I am very thankful for all of you reading this, for all of my supporters, for all of the great people I have met in this industry! I may not be driving a Ferrari or living in a mansion but I have a beautiful daughter, a career I love and great people in my life to be thankful for!!
