Veruca James interview

Veruca James is a definite up and coming starlet who has continued to perform solid work in adult films during her year in the industry. Her current performance in The Godfather XXX will bring her a legion of turned-on fans. Also, her satisfying work relationship with Burning Angel will continue to allow her to shoot hot scenes for many porn viewers. As a newcomer, I am impressed with her energy level during her performances. She really gets into it and makes the scene exciting. It will be a pleasure to see her grow. With Joanna Angel and Lee Roy Myers having so much confidence in her, Veruca James is on her way to a good adult career.

Hi Veruca, I am impressed with your performances and you have a bright future in this business. How long have you been in the industry?

Thank you! I performed my first scene in May 2011 and about twenty scenes in total to date. I just began working with my agent, Mark Spiegler, in June.

What have been your most pleasurable moments? What has been your least pleasurable ones?

I've really enjoyed performing overall and meeting so many new people in the industry. The only thing that has proven difficult so far, was actually relocating from Chicago to LA to perform full-time, but I made it and it was worth all the trouble.

How did you get into the adult industry?

I had met a few girls who had performed scenes for BurningAngel.com and thought the idea of performing on camera sounded so exhilarating!  After about six months, I worked up the courage to apply and they accepted and I was on a plane to LA just a few weeks later. I had a great experience with Burning Angel and decided I wanted to perform for other companies as well.

You are currently in The Godfather XXX parody. How was that experience like being on the set and performing your sex scene with Anthony Rosano?

I had worked with Lee Roy Myers and his team before and always had a great time. They are a really fun and laid back group! I do not have any dialogue in the movie, so I just showed up, got dolled up, and had sex! Anthony is sweet and funny, and very easy to work with. We had fun!

What traits of a woman do you admire most? What makes a woman sexy? What traits of a man do you admire most? What makes a man sexy?
 
Doesn't matter if it is a man or a woman, confidence, intelligence and a good sense of humor are universally sexy.

It's great that you have been a regular with Burning Angel since you have already been in three films with them. What is it like filming with this incredible studio? What is it like having the very talented Joanna Angel direct you?

I love Burning Angel and really respect and appreciate the impact they have made on the industry. Joanna has worked so hard to celebrate genuine individuality and she really puts a lot of thought into matching each unique girl with a scene that fits them. I know when I performed my first scene for Burning Angel, her extra thought made it easier for me to feel comfortable on camera for the first time. All of my subseqent scenes have been super fun because Joanna created roles that fit my personality perfectly! Joanna is a super laid back director and really encourages the girls to have fun.  

What has been the biggest surprise for you about the adult industry?

I've been really impressed by all the side projects many performers are involved in outside of just shooting for production companies. People keep themselves extremely busy managing a well rounded career.

Are there any industry people (actors, actresses, directors, etc.) who you have not had the opportunity to work with yet and want to very badly and why? What would be your dream scene?

I'm still new so there are so many performers I have not met. I would be more than excited to work with any of the other Spiegler girls. It's such a diverse, sexy, and talented group of performers. I'm also a big fan of Sam Hain and Axel Braun.

Are you a pet lover? What types of pets do you have?

I am! I love all animals. I had dogs growing up, but now I have three cats, Gus, Suzy & Sashimi!

What piece of clothing do you own that when you put it on, it makes you feel so sexy? What shoe size are you?

I love garter belts and stockings. I think it's impossible to not feel sexy in them. I wear a size 8 shoe.

How were you as a kid growing up?

I was a really good kid! I loved school and got good grades and generally stayed out of trouble. I rebelled a little in high school, but I maintained my ambition.

What are your hobbies and interests?

I love to cook and ski and be active in general. I'm excited to be in LA where there are so many outdoor activity opportunities.

What is your favorite thing about being an adult performer?

Performing of course!

Are there any web sites or future projects that you would like to promote? What are you currently working on film wise?

Burning Angel will be releasing a feature called "Baristas" that was a ton of fun to shoot and has all my favorite Burning Angels in it. Joanna, Jessie Lee, Kleio Valentien and Krysta Kaos - Kleio and I did a scene (b/g/g/a) together and I can't wait to see it!

I have unreleased scenes for Brazzers, Burning Angel, DogFart, Evil Angel, Belladonna and Penthouse.

Also, Lee Roy Myers has booked me as the lead in his next film which will be shot in August, so stay tuned!
