Jayda Diamonde interview

After interviewing this sweet lady, I really enjoyed her bluntness and straight-forward discussion about the industry and her vision for her career. We need more people like Jayda who will tell us the forthright truth and not sugarcoat it. This woman is not afraid to take chances. Furthermore, she would be an incredible agent to the stars since she will have their best interests at heart. Jayda could easily be affectionately called "Big Mama" to them. Her future is bright as she continues to make breakthroughs in both the adult and mainstream sectors.

Hi Jayda, I am so proud of you that you are in the mainstream film Boot Tracks. I am a big fan of the book that it is based on. How did you get cast in the film? What is your character?
 
My husband saw an article in our local paper about the movie being filmed here in our town looking for non-specific actresses and extras. He decided to submit information on my behalf and as it tuned out, they were looking to fill a speaking role with a girl that could play, can you believe it, a pornstar for a role with Michelle Monaghan! We were contacted by the producers, met with them, and I had the part fifteen minutes later. I was called back within two days after our meeting to be told that they had decided that I would be perfect for two other small speaking roles that they were looking to fill as well. I was very excited needless to say and accepted all three parts! I play a pornstar, nun, and two mysterious brief roles as a maid and a girl in a bus station. In both of those roles I appear with Stephen Dorff.

"Boot Tracks" has several outstanding Hollywood actors and actresses like Stephen Dorff, Michelle Monaghan, and Willem Dafoe. How was your experience in working with these fine performers? How was the atmosphere on the set?
 
They were just fantastic. Everyone from the cast to the crew treated myself and my husband like gold! We got to have a private lunch with Willem Dafoe one day which was cool. He was so nice and welcoming. After shooting twelve hours one day when we were all wrapped, we had Michelle Monaghan up to our room where she sat and we talked, ate, and had drinks until 4:00 in the morning. She gave us her personal phone number and invited us to dinner next time in L.A.. She was fabulous. The most down to earth and friendly girl you could ever hope to meet on a big time movie set. Finally, we spent two nights out with Stephen Dorff. He was also just fabtastick. He invited us into his trailer for drinks, to sit in a trailer much bigger then ours, then invited us to go out with him, and we went to some great bars, had dinner, and then came back to our room until the sun came up! We all got along so well that the next night, he invited us up to his suite where we drank and talked again till the sun came up. I can't say enough about everyone involved from top to bottom. They were all just great to us. We actually went to the set on the last day with my posters and movies from Evil Angel and we thought a couple people might want some swag. Boy, were we wrong! Everyone wanted autographs, posters and movies from us. We quickly ran out! I couldn't believe the way they responded to my profession. They loved us and we loved them!

As for your adult career, how long have you been in the industry? What have been your most pleasurable moments so far? What has been your least pleasurable? 
 
Five years now, maybe a little more. I don't really count the first year as I had no idea what I was doing yet and at first, I was with some pretty unsavory characters. My husband also helped me greatly to see what was going on and got me away from the bottom feeders out in L.A.. You live and learn in this business and as you can see, everything has turned around for me. I love who I work with in L.A. now. They treat me great and I am paid very well for my work in my niche market.

How did you get into the adult industry?
 
I answered an ad on Craigslist, got on a plane, and there I was. It was a big mistake. I would not recommend anyone getting into the business the way I did. Unless you want to be run through what I call the puppy mill. That's not to say there isn't a good way to enter the biz. Just that you should do a lot of homework first and find a reputable place to do business with. There are some really good places to work for. There are also some really bad ones too. Take the time and do some research are the morals of the story.

It is pretty cool that your nickname is "The Queen of Extreme Penetrations" since it tells everyone that your sexual performances are intense and that you give one hundred percent effort all the time. How do you prepare for an intense scene? Is there some type of mental zone that you place yourself into when you get ready to perform one of those types of scenes?
 
At this point, I am a machine. I run on auto pilot. Director Jay Sin from www.EvilAngelVideo.com loves working with me because I am drug free and drama free. I am never late to a shoot, don't flake out, and when the cameras roll, I am a one-take girl that takes care of business the first time. I fly in, do my scenes, and fly out. It is no games and all business. I love working with Jay Sin (www.jaysinxxx.com) as he understands how hard it is to find girls that have what I consider the "total package". He pays me very well for my work and I always do my best to make a film that will sell big for him. As a result of that work ethic, several of my scenes are top sellers on www.HotMovies.com and that has landed me a spot in the top fifteen stars on HotMovies and an autograph signing for them tentatively set for May 2012 at Exxxotica Miami. I expect more big things to follow.

Who are your favorite male and female performers that you have worked with?
 
Seam Michaels is great! He's just like me. No games, no bullshit. He shows up on time, doesn't waste time trying to hit on me (did I mention I'm happily married?) and he is just a very professional and low stress guy to work with. He's been around a long time and anyone that has worked with some of the male talent in this business would be shocked at the difference when filming with Sean. I can't say enough good things about him. In and out, he's a true professional. As for a female performer, I would say Kylie Ireland & Roxy Raye. Both were easy to work with and didn't cause any on-set problems. They came ready to work, on time, and we got along great! I love them both.

Since you perform so well with toys, do you have a favorite one or two that you like to use?
 
I love'em big and so I would say a toy called "Bam" is my personal favorite to use in shows. I also love my hard pounding fuck machine that I use all the time as well. What was the biggest surprise for you about the adult industry when you started?
 
How many bad "agencies" and "agents" there are in L.A.. You got to be careful when you first start. If I had done a few things differently when I started, I would be farther along, but you live and learn and I have definitely learned. My husband is very smart and we have come a long way together since I started. Again, there are many reputable and great agents and agencies, but I can't stress enough you must research and do your homework first, because if you don't, L.A. will chew you up and spit you out!

Are there any particular industry talent (actors, actresses, directors, studios) who you want to work very badly with and why? What would be your dream scene?
 
I want to shoot a big budget parody adult film for the likes of Vivid, Wicked, and others running this genre of films now. I feel I have the talent to pull off the speaking roles and Hollywood obviously agrees! I'm just waiting for the right studio to come calling. I would love to sign a contract with a big company and work exclusively with them to build their brand and my career. I feel that's the next step I need to make. Hopefully, the right company will come calling one day soon and the one that does will get everything they need from a professional adult film actress. The rest will be left to wonder why they didn't step up and take notice first.

How were you as a kid growing up?
 
Horny. LOL

What are your hobbies and interests?
 
I'm a homebody believe it or not. My husband of 4 years (together 5 and a 1/2) is 52 years old. He looks like hes 35, acts like he's 30, and has the energy of a 25 year old. We get along great and he's my business manager. We do everything together. We love to take short weekend retreats at resort hotels for rest and relaxation. I love going to the spa and out to dinner. We go swimming a lot, run around at the local festivals in our town, and just have fun together. I'm a different person at home from the character I play on screen.

What is your favorite thing about being an adult performer?
 
The freedom it allows me to be with my family. I consider myself to be very well off thanks to adult films and live cam. I am very comfortable and I couldn't be happier.

Are there any web sites or future projects that you would like to promote? What are you currently working on film wise?
 
I shot four films for Jay Sin from Evil Angel that will start being released in the next couple of months. They will be on two disk sets and I am on the cover by myself on two of the four films! I expect them to sell big as usual for the company and of course, there is the mainstream movie "Boot Tracks" tentatively scheduled for release around May 2012. I am told to be expecting an invite on the red carpet when it premieres. There are very exciting stuff ahead and I can't wait to see what the future holds. I also shot three brand new, national TV commercials for www.streamate.com that will start being seen on television on ESPN, Spike, and other channels at night, starting next month.
