The Gruesome Death of Tommy Pistol

So most of you that visit our site are very familiar with Tommy Pistol, the actor. Well it seems that he also likes to behind the camera as well. And I was lucky enough to have him send me a copy of the movie to check out. Being here in the Midwest, it would have been awhile before I would have been able to see it.

So let's get into the movie, The Gruesome Death of Tommy Pistol, was both written and directed by Aramis Sartorio (aka Tommy Pistol), and includes a cast of some familair faces to Xcritic, including Kimberly Kane, Sparky Sin Claire, and a few other familar faces.

The movie is about a guy who's life has taken a turn for the worse, just lost his job, and after his wife finds out, she takes his kid and leaves him until he learns to grow up. One night as his life seems to really be in a bad place, he starts watching some porn (one of his other movies), and grabs a penis pump and begins to enjoy himself, which makes him pass out and sends him into dream world, which is broken down into 3 stories about what his life could have been, with a little of a over the top reality.

He goes from being a nieve guy who just left NY and gets cast in a snuff film, not knowing what he is getting into. He thinks it's a movie, but even after a few grizzly and gross deaths, he still has no idea what he is getting involved in.

Next up he invades a Hollywood set and ends up skinning the big actor and then goes around causing chaos, until he faces a schoolgirl who is trying to prove herself.

And our last story, is one where he is director and is dealing with a outbreak on set after one of his ladies and then seems to spread through the cast and crew.

So for those that are familar with Tommy's work, you know he's sense of humor and the gloves come off when he is in charge and behind the camera. You get his sense of humor and then add in a over the top blend of horror and gore thrown in to make this a overall fun movie. It's one of those movies you can put in when you have a group of friends over you want to watch a fun movie, this is that movie. There will be plenty of OMG and WTF moments thrown out through the night, and even a few moments of people of people maybe getting close to throwing up a few times.

So having said all of that, I have to say that I enjoyed the movie, and that I look forward to adding this to my collection when it finally comes out. And yes, I do plan on buying it, even though I have already seen it. This is not a movie for everyone, but if you are a fan of Troma films and stuff like that, this is right up your alley. It’s got over the top humor, gore, and nudity, all the stuff that make a fun movie to watch and enjoy. It’s going to be hard to track down right now, but keep an eye out, and hopefully you will be able to check it out on your own soon. I’m sure it will pop up on some Horror Film Fests down the road.

I look forward to seeing what he does next, and I have a feeling that sometime down the road, we will be talking about him, like we do with James Gunn. I just hope that someone gives him a chance to prove himself, we could always use a fresh mind and ideas in Hollywood.

So hopefully this is enough to at least make you interested in seeing the movie, and hopefully you will seek it out and watch it, and hopefully enjoy it also.

And I was just informed that the movie will premiere at the Polly Grind Festival in Vegas on October 14th at &pm, so if you are in the area, I would say check it out.
