Kimberly Kane interview

If people thought that Kimberly Kane's win for Best Actress at the AVNs was a fluke, then it was a major stamp of approval when she won for Best Single Performance at the very recent XRCO awards. She is a force to be reckon with and should not be taken granted of. Her two best performances to date are the stunner The Sex Files: A Dark XXX Parody and her probable award nominating role in Supertail and the Evil Wang. Kimberly Kane is not one of those cookie-cutter adult stars that come and go, but is actually an actress who has put in her hard work and time for this industry and is finally receiving the praise that she richly deserves.  

 

Hi Kimberly, congratulations on being the reigning AVN Best Actress. Your performances continue to exceed anyone's expectations. You continue to get better and better. How long have you been in the industry, what have been your most pleasurable moments so far? What has been your least pleasurable?

THANK YOU for the wonderful compliments. I've been in the biz 7 years, my most pleasurable moments are working with amazing performers on camera and behind the camera. I still get blown away by true sexuality.

How did you get into the adult industry?

My friend Rose took me to a set and Pat Myne asked if I would ever do a scene...I said yes.

Furthermore, your superb work in The Sex Files: A Dark XXX Comedy, Pin-Up Girls, and Supertail and The Evil Wang have continued to show off your remarkable range as an actress and, of course, your incredible body. What does it mean to you that the industry's movers and shakers have so much confidence in your talent and professionalism?

I'm really happy to be working with creative people, and to still be working consistently. The biz has changing a lot in the last year and performers aren't working as much as they used too.

You have remarkable sexual chemistry with both men and women. What traits of a woman do you admire most? What makes a woman sexy? What traits of a man do you admire most? What makes a man sexy?

I love brunette's! I love women feminine and strong. And my men tall, dark, handsome and  smart.

What has been the biggest surprise for you about the adult industry?

People really loving the movies I create.

Are there any industry people (actors, actresses, directors, etc.)who you have not had the opportunity to work with yet and want to verybadly and why? What would be your dream scene?

I've worked with EVERYONE!! LOL

How were you as a kid growing up?

Rebellious

What are your hobbies and interests?

Photography, hiking, my new puppy Sueno, nature, travel, playing DnD, Internet lurking.

What is your favorite thing about being an adult performer?

Getting to do what I love for a living, being creative, meeting interesting people and getting to travel.
