Nightmares

Do you ever have those dreams/nightmares where you forget something super important? Maybe you've had the dream where you don't remember you have a class until the day of the final. Or maybe you forgot you had a job and you haven't remembered to show up to it for weeks. Or maybe you're doing something in a very public place and all of a sudden you realize that you forgot to put clothes on. These dreams are completely ridiculous when you think about them later when you are awake, but while they are happening they are extremely stressful and probably reflect some of the stress going on in your life.

I had one such dream lately and I've had similar dreams often. I dreamt that I was fucking an ex of mine and not until afterward did I realize that I was married and monogamous ... oh and that we probably should have used protection.

Up until this point, the dream was really hot. We were all tangled up in each other, kissing, groping, licking, sucking, and fucking. My sex dreams are often extremely vivid and more arousing than even real life can offer. The highs are so high and the lows are really low.

At the end of the dream I realized that my wife and I hadn't finished discussing opening up our relationship and that this was probably really going to fuck it up because I had been completely untrustworthy. The dream probably happened because just a day or two before she had said that she wanted to work on opening up the relationship within the next few months, not the next few years which she had originally planned. Apparently we had not been on the same page as I had thought since I wanted it to open over the next few months. Luckily, we are on the same page now.

She has been reading Opening Up by Tristan Taormino, which is the book that I always highly recommend to people who are thinking about opening their relationship up. Confession: I've actually only read bits and pieces of it myself, but sometimes you don't need to read the whole book to know that its fabulous and the best out there on a particular subject. I don't currently have time to read it. I have other books I have to read for reviews as well as porn I have to watch and sex toys I have to test. I know, my life is just so difficult. My wife has a bit more time on her hands so she has been put in charge of reading the book and its been going really well. She is enjoying it and starting discussions with me based off of it.
