Things really started to take off, we signed Tori Welles, Barbara Dare, Heather Hunter.

Sales were soaring, and we finally made the number one slot in a very short time. It was the early 1990s.

We went to the AVN show that year and did really well, our booth was packed.

I was setting up the booth the day before and in walked Max Baer Jr., Jethro from the Beverly Hillbillies, wow, Jethro!

He explained to me how Vivid had the best talent and how the contract girls reminded him of the old Hollywood star system.

Stevens business model was working according to Jethro.

A couple of minutes later I looked at the end of the booth, and there was Buck Henry, the guy who wrote the screenplay for the Graduate and quite a famous actor in his own right, sitting in the booth writing some stuff. He looked up and acknowledged Jethro. I walked over and introduced myself.

Two minutes later in walked Richard Anderson,He is probably best known for his role as Lee Majors's and Lindsay Wagner's boss, Oscar Goldman, in both The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman TV series and their three subsequent TV movies.

In the 1970s, Anderson also guest starred on Hawaii Five-O, Gunsmoke, Ironside, Columbo and The Love Boat. Anderson was just as busy in the 1980s on Charlie's Angels, Knight Rider, Remington Steele, Cover Up, The A-Team, The Fall Guy, Simon & Simon, and Murder, She Wrote. Anderson also had a recurring role as Senator Buck Fallmont on Dynasty from 1986-1987.

I mean this guy was one of my heros. I loved those shows.

Now here I am, setting up a porn booth with these guys and all they wanted to know was about Vivid! What is Christy Canyon really like? Crazy huh?

I thought nothing could be better than this, and in walks, ready for this, Tony Curtis!

Tony Curtis! Now the four of them are hanging at the Vivid booth and I thought I really arrived.

I said to Tony Curtis that I was a big fan, because of his portrayal of Houdini ,I went into doing magic, it was very inspirational for me, and then later when I saw him in the Boston Strangler, I became a serial killer, he thought that was pretty funny.

The conversation turned really weird when the four of them, who were all neighbors at one time, started talking about their other neighbor, Roman Polanski.

They started to reminincse about the Charlie Manson murders of Sharon Tate and her friends, in great detail.

It was beyond surreal.

I am like , hey guys I really need to finish setting up the booth, could you hand me the Brat box?

I still hear from Jethro to this day, and all I wanted to ever know was if he banged Ellie May?

The answer was no. How disappointing.
