While we don't have a crystal ball, we do watch the industry very closely and often see signs of studios going in right directions and signs of them going in very wrong directions. When picking THE studio to watch in 2010 we had to weigh a number of factors and evaluate what moves each studio made in 2009.

It might come as a surprise to many that Vivid Entertainment is our pick for The 2010 Studio to Watch For. Vivid is one of the oldest and most established adult entertainment companies out there. So why are they ones to watch in 2010? Vivid spent a good part of 2009 refining its focus. It took to heart fan feedback and shuffled around its stable of contract performers. Creatively Vivid signaled a new direction and gave B. Skow the reigns on a number of key projects.

With the signing of AJ Bailey, a strong year of work from Nikki Jayne and the retention of a legendary performer in Savanna Sampson, Vivid Entertainment showed that it wasn't going to rest on the laurels of it's long and fruitful history.

We predict that 2010 is going to be the year that Vivid will do some exciting things and so we've named them The 2010 Studio to Watch For.
