so we’re trapped in our home with a giant bomb nearby…

right now we are in the back bedroom of our home with our 2 kitties, blankets on the windows and waiting for a giant explosion.

how did this all start?  we were napping and i woke up to find our living room full of flashing lights.

upon further examination, it was the bomb squad and the police.

we were informed not to leave our place although several places had been evacuated....we figured if the police and bomb squad were stationed in front of our place, we'd be okay.

about an hour later, we talked to the police a little more and there is indeed a 3ft liquid-filled bomb...they tried to puncture it twice with the bomb robot, and that is how they realized it was filled with liquid....the second of those two explosions were big and we figured it was over however, haz-mat was called in and the police and bomb squad moved further away and we became a bit worried.

we were instructed to get inside, close and cover our windows and wait and to NOT leave or go outside under any circumstances.

so, we are trapped inside and waiting for this huge explosion that may blow the windows out of our fucking home.....i feel like i'm stuck in a war zone.
