hey everyone!

sorry i have been completely M.I.A. for a while. i've been dealing with the holidays and had something very serious occur so, i've been just taking it really easy.

thanksgiving went good! my husband and i went over to my mom's for dinner and had a great time with my family.

we were also super excited because i found out that i was pregnant. we told my mom of course but were waiting until i was closer to my second trimester to let everyone know. that night i fell asleep reading "belly laughs" and eating candy cane kisses (hershey's best creation ever).

the next morning i woke up about an hour after my husband left for work. i felt like i was being stabbed in my uterus and when i pulled back the covers there was blood everywhere. i picked up my cell and frantically called my husband and left him a voicemail to come home then, as i went to call my mom, i passed out. by the time i got help, it was way too late. i had miscarried.

as you all know, i want nothing more than to be a mom so, this is really really heartbreaking.

i was debating whether or not to post something so personal but, i'd rather post the truth than some bullshit blog about how everything is wonnnnderfulllllll.

tomorrow my mom is coming to stay with us for a bit. she's so amazing and her just being here to take care of me for a little while is exactly what i need right now! we're planning on decorating the tree most likely tomorrow as well...i will post some pix of it for you guys!
