Vin and I have 2 very old persian cats...a boy and a girl, half siblings. They are 10 and 11 years old, and sweet as can be. We are pretty much obsessed with them. Lately we've been having my best friend from back in Baltimore stay with us in Minneapolis until she can find a place here. She brought her 4 year old yorkie with her...I really like him, but our cats are pretty freaked out. I don't think they had ever even seen a dog before he moved in here a few weeks ago. They have been attacking each other and I even fear that they are depressed over him because they haven't been eatting well like they used to. On top of all of that, we aren't even supposed to HAVE a dog on our floor! It was no surprise when we were busted by our leasing office...he barks constantly when he doesn't have everyone's complete attention. What a little asshole!

in other lame pet news, our ex-roomies cat had to be put down this morning...which totally sucks. he was a really sweet little kitty cat that both Vin and I spend a lot of time with. Rest in peace little guy!
