Do Porn Stars Really “Retire?”

It seems every week a porn girl "retires" from the adult film industry. But I really never understood that term or phrase. It's not like they are retiring from work, hell most of them continue on to do stripping, magazine work or website content and that is still considered porn. So how are they "retiring?"

When I left the pizza restaurant or quit the department store I worked at in my early 20s I didn't "retire," I moved on to another job. Hell if I had "retired"  I would be sitting in a nice condo right now watching IRL Racing and getting a blow job from a hot Latina girl I got my eye on.

The porn industry is a vast business, so if a girl doesn't do movies anymore, it doesn't mean she is retiring from the business. Hell if she leaves the business all together, I imagine she will have to get a civilian job to live out the rest of her days like all of us.

So let's do everyone a favor, girls don't "retire" from porn just because they stop making movies. They move on to another form of pornography or they just fade into civilian lifestyle.
