Our Progress: An Update On Xcritic

Well, as I mentioned last week in my blog, the upgrades continue here at Xcritic. Some of them are obvious, more pictures that show a lot more flesh, an increasing presence of industry people in the forums, and more of the reviews you've come to appreciate over the years. Other changes are the kind that keep this place running and make it less prone to the problems other websites face; be it upgrades to servers to handle popular reviews like Not The Bradys XXX, Brianna Love Is Buttwoman, or Operation: Desert Stormy; fixing some of the covers that were lost in the move from DVD Talk, and moving some of the older forum threads to more appropriate places now that they are not confined to a single, generic Adult forum. We are also working on improved search features, acquiring more of the titles you've asked for, and making this place the best spot for consumers looking for a wealth of information without the unreliable gossip that other sites so desperately rely on to drive their numbers.

So whether you're here strictly to take advantage of Briana Banks' offer to help design her upcoming movie (complete with DP's, hardcore sex, and all that goes with it), trying to score some bling from the Bradys movie (at last count, there were 19 prizes up for grabs, some of them rare-one of a kind collector items), looking for love in all the right places by seeking out the top titles, or merely checking the place out for future participation, I think you're going to enjoy what we have coming up next (hint: the offers are going to get a LOT more lucrative in coming months but I won't spoil the surprises).

So while I'm not going to promise you a lap dance from Sunny Lane (get in line!), a weekend of skydiving with Casey Parker, the cure for cancer, or other miracles; I can tell you that a lot of people are working around the clock to ensure your experience is a positive one and you should bookmark Xcritics (if not add some of those new-fangled RSS feeds that we have a lot of). We appreciate your input and one of our main goals is not to become a cookie cutter website trying to suck money out of your wallet as so many others do, but to offer something worth your time. Send us emails, jump on the forums, or send smoke signals if you must, but give us a head's up about what you like, dislike, and want to see in the future. In case you haven't guessed, I've already received plenty of emails asking for more pictures and acted accordingly, but as the old saying goes: "You ain't seen nothing yet!"
