Fleshbot Chats With the OnlyFans Mom Paying for Her Daughter’s Law School

A few months ago, Marcela's story went viral. She's a mother from New York who's been paying for her daughter's law school with the money she makes from OnlyFans and webcamming. We sat down with the busty Latina to talk about her life and what it's like going viral.

Hello Marcela. Thank you for sitting down with us to talk about your life and what's it like to be a content creator and webcam model.

For those that don't know your story, can you tell them a little bit about who you are and the story behind all the media attention?

My name is Marcela Alonso, and I'm a Latina MILF who had to find a way to really make ends meet during the pandemic, so I focused all of my attention on webcamming and OnlyFans. I had webcammed and been on OnlyFans prior to that, but when the lockdown happened, it all just sort of blew up – in a good way.

There were a lot of lonely men out there craving intimacy, and I was able to provide them that. That, I think was the one thing that helped my account blow up. My income skyrocketed to over $20,000 a month, and it honestly hasn't slowed down since.

In March of last year, a reporter wanted to talk to me about my experience as an online sex worker, and the story just sort of blew up. The headline was something like 'Mom does OnlyFans to pay for her daughter's law school." After The Daily Beast ran the article about me, other media outlets picked it up, and from there, it's just been a crazy few months.

That's a fantastic story. What does your daughter think about all of this?

My daughter has been busy studying for the LSATs, so that's pretty much the only thing on her mind right now, but I think she's just happy that she won't have to take out a bunch of student loans to pay for her education.

How did you get involved in online sex work?

I've been a sex worker since I was 18. I started as a stripper. As a single mom, I had bills to pay, and stripping was the easiest way to make the money I needed to support my daughter and pay for my own college education. I was going to the University of South Florida, where I eventually graduated with a major in marketing. I'm able to put what I learned to school to use in promoting my OnlyFans and webcam shows.

Later on, I ventured into phone sex and then started working as a findom. I joined OnlyFans in 2017, but it took a while to build up a fanbase. Webcamming helped with that. People would see me do live shows and want to get to know me better.
When the pandemic hit, things changed for me. Men had this need to connect with someone in a way that they didn't do by just watching an adult movie. Men wanted to talk. They wanted that closeness. OnlyFans helped me connect with men in that way.

Now that the lockdown is over and people are starting to return to their normal lives, have you seen things online slow down?

Honestly, at first, I thought that would be the case but it really isn't. I logged in to do a live webcam show last week, and my room was inundated with people. It was great. I love the way you can connect with fans webcamming. It's intimate and special. I guess coming from a background as a phone sex operator, I see it as a way to bring that to the next level.

How about your OnlyFans? How that's going?

It's been great. Actually, better than ever. My OnlyFans account has continued to see growth month after month. I still get new sign-ups every single day.

Do you have any plans to do traditional porn?

No, I really don't. I love the control I have by doing my own thing. That's not to say I don't enjoy filming scenes with other established performers. It's just that I like to be in charge of the production. In fact, I did a scene earlier this year with porn star Nina Dolci. I shared that with my OnlyFans followers, and they loved it.

What do you do when you're not working?

I wished I could say that I had free time to do things, but honestly, my OnlyFans keeps me pretty busy. Between filming new content, taking pictures, and answering private messages, I don't really have a ton of time to catch up on the latest movie or Netflix release. Not that I'm complaining. Trust me, this is one problem I'm happy to have.

Is there one piece of advice that you would give to a girl just beginning her career in the adult industry?

Yes! I would tell them so many things. I guess if I had to pick just one thing to tell them, it would be to network. Spend time talking to others in your industry and really get to know them because they will be your most valuable resource.
