Brandon Iron Has Died

Goodbye and Thank You, Brandon!

AVN Hall of Fame porn performer and director Brandon Iron (shown above with comedian Jack Black on his left) has been reported to have died by AVN. He apparently passed sometime in April which was when he stopped contacting all of his adult industry friends and business contacts. His cause of death has not been made available to the public by the authorities in Dublin, Ireland where he was living with his girlfriend and daughter.

From Alberta, Canada, Iron performed through the 1990's and directed in the early 2000's for companies like Devil's Film, Extreme Associates and Red Light District. He was one of the performers who formed the exclusive Platinum X Pictures brand in 2003. In 2007, he created his own brand Brandon Iron Productions which was distributed through JM Productions. He mostly focused on his own works but he would occasionally direct a production for someone else with his 2015 Smash Pictures release "Shade X" earning an AVN Awards nomination.

I directed Iron once in my brief blink-and-you-missed-it directorial career. He was incredibly sweet and kind and absolutely considerate of his female talent that day. He always was smiling and had such a gratitude about being able to satisfy his perversions as part of making a living. I hope his leaving did not cause him any pain and that his friends and family feel his love forever.
