Checking In with AVN Male Performer of the Year Nominee Small Hands

Small Is Sensational!

It has been an honor and a pleasure to watch cool, sweet and inked male porn performer Small Hands develop and grow as a performer and now, he is up for AVN Male Performer of the Year at the upcoming AVN Awards Show in January. Mr. Joanna Angel is one of the very nicest former neighbors that I have ever had and the porn industry is absolutely fortunate to have him in it. He is truly talented in all that he does that he is generous enough to share with us all and he would be a fine choice to take home one of the biggest trophies that porn offers a man in its ranks.

So how are you? How are things?

"I am great; thanks for asking! Busy, busy, busy as always so no complaints!"

A big congrats on being up for AVN Male Performer of the Year! How does it feel to be nominated for such a big honor?

"Thank you! As I always say 'it's an honor and pleasure just to be at the party', and that hasn't changed for me over the years! I'm just happy to get to live this life, and that people aren't sick of me yet! ;)"

You are also up for Best Actor for your work in Pure Taboo's "A Trailer Park Taboo". What did you love most about your role in this?

"I really, really enjoy acting, plain and simple, and I got to do a LOT of it in this movie, so that was a fantastic experience. I'd love to continue down the road of serious/mainstream acting and see how far I can take it."

Your scene in Adam & Eve's "Naked" with Mia Li and Logan Long is up for Best Threeway. What do you remember most about performing in this?

"Other than the super hot sex, I remember the almost 'too perfect' light rain that started midway into the scene (we were outside in a tent in the desert for the scene) and it really set a romantic tone!"

You and your darling wife Joanna Angel have been nominated for Best Mainstream Venture for your creation of Doom's Whiskey. What inspired you two to create this libation?

"I have been involved in the alcohol/spirits/bar industry for years before porn, so this has always been a dream project. Doom'S Whiskey is inspired by my rock and roll youth, love of fine whiskey, black leather and evil."

Your scenes are consistently super. What do you think is the most important factor in making a great porn scene?

"Aw shucks, thanks. :) When two (or more hehe) people REALLY want to fuck each other and their rhythm matches up with the director's vision, I think that's when a great scene occurs!"

If you don't win Male Performer of the Year for some reason, who is the performer that you would most like to see take home the trophy?

"Any and all of these men in the category are more than worthy and deserving of the award. I'm just genuinely happy to be here!"

What are you proudest of when you think about all of the work that you did this year?

"I'm proud of all the work I do but the Burning Angel projects obviously hold a special place in my heart...and pants."

So what else is coming up for you?

"More movies, more music, more whiskey, more sex, more work, more writing, more editing, more designing, more creating. I'm gonna do what I always do and that's roll up my sleeves and WORK."

Is there anything you would like to say to your fans here at Fleshbot?
