Naked Oscar Nominees

So of course the first thing we did when we read about the Oscar nominations this morning was to look and see which of the nominees had appeared naked onscreen at some point in their careers. (Hey, we have to do something to at least keep up the appearance of being relevant every now and then.) An exhaustive five minutes of research at the ever-handy Mr. Skin turned up listings for eight of the ten actresses nominated (just who are Sophie Okendo and Catalina Sandino Moreno anyway?); and of the eight that remained, we had to eliminate Cate Blanchett and Hilary Swank for possibly using body doubles and/or other reasons*. And we all know about Natalie Portman already. Thus, you'll find caps of our favorite naked moments by five Oscar-worthy actresses after the jump. (Yes, including Imelda Staunton. You've been warned.) And the winner is ... ?

*Update Several readers wrote to remind us of Hilary Swank's bottomless scene and maked breast close-ups in "Boys Don't Cry", for which she very clearly didn't use a body double. But it wasn't, like, a sexy kind of nudity, so we're not including it here. Fleshbot stands by its decision. (We've always wanted to say that.)
