We were all ready for our close-ups on American Idol gay porn knockoff American Porn Star until our giddiness wore off and we read that Idol lawyers decided that "...the value of the American Idol look is something that we cannot allow to get tarnished," and fired off a queasily homophobic cease and desist letter.
