Maybe it has something to do with today's date, but for some reason the name Lothar Ponhold makes us think of an evil Pygmalion type cackling maniacally as he photographs gorgeous nude models covered in fake blood while ensconced in a gloomy fortress somewhere deep within a mountainous region of Middle Europe. Which, as it turns out, may not be too far from the truth. (Except for that evil part. We're sure he's really very nice.)
