Imagine old-school Fiona Apple, with that patented listless, hollow gaze. Now imagine her naked and smeared in sticks and mud. Really though, the girls here at Ceiling of Glass are working the Fiona vibe pretty hard, with some devastatingly sexy results. The whole thing is what the artist calls, "seeking to capture the haunted side of life the unnerving juxtapositions when a beautiful moment is infiltrated by disturbing energy." I call it "hot dirty naked chicks, mostly shaved". Labels aside, it's worth a visit. A. Tolesco
