We probably shouldn't be that surprised to learn that The New Yorker has just reviewed the latest version of "The Joy Of Sex"—after all, this is a publication that lets its writers say "fuck."
But in these terrifying times, when most publications shy away from the slightest hint of sexuality (well, except for celebrity sex scandals), lest they be tarred and feathered with the NSFW label—let's just say it was something of a relief to see a thoughtful, serious review of a book that contains pictures of naked people doing it. Thanks, New Yorker, for giving us a little faith in the mainstream media.
