The Gift For The Girl (Or Boy) With Too Many Toys

After almost a year of sex toy reviewing, I've amassed a formidable collection of toys. Unfortunately, my itty bitty Manhattan apartment hasn't increased in size to accommodate my growing toy chest.

With nowhere else to put them, I'd taken to throwing my already reviewed toys into a drawer. Unfortunately, this made finding the toys I wanted to use a rather annoying process—and, even worse, it wasn't that good for the toys. Any sexpert worth her salt will tell you that toys should be stored separately, by material, so that hard toys won't destroy soft toys, phthalate-free won't be contaminated by phthalate-full... and so on and so forth.

To put it bluntly, I needed a storage solution. And I needed one fast.

From the exterior, the Adult Toychest looks like an ordinary, black, faux leather carrying case—one unlikely to generate any suspicion from passersby. Worried about prying eyes? It also comes equipped with a lock, allowing you to secure your valuables (or at least keep your sex toys away from the kids).

But how does it store?

The Adult Toychest comes with 9 clear plastic storage pouches of varying size, which affix to velcro strips on the sides of the case. The pouches can be arranged in whatever configuration you desire, additional pouches—in either mesh or plastic—can also be purchased to expand your storage space. I highly recommend purchasing some of the mesh pouches, as I found that silicone toys didn't seem to like the plastic pouches.

In addition to the pouches, the case also comes equipped with some snapping loops and a d-ring, perfect for hanging floggers, paddles, and other large toys. If you can get turned on by it, there's some mode of storing it in this case.

All told, I was only able to get about three-quarters of my collection into the case. But the toys that did make it in are now well organized and easily accessible—a vast improvement over my previous situation. (And as for the toys that didn't make it in... well, I'm thinking of doing a little spring cleaning with those ones).
