Fleshbot: So, first off, congratulations on being named Penthouse Pet of 2011! What was it like when you found out?
Nikki Benz: Um, I was real excited. Kind of shocked, but in a good way. I didn't expect it, so it came out of nowhere. I'm very honored!

What kinds of responsibilities and perks come with the title?
I'm their official contract girl now, so I get to shoot content for Penthouse and travel the world, representing the company for the next eighteen months. And I get a diamond key necklace, which is a cool little gift. I just get to be Penthouse spokesmodel and I've been getting a lot of mainstream press, which is great.

Where will you be traveling?
Uh, I don't know yet. The next thing I'm doing with Penthouse is CES in Vegas... They're developing a video game that we're going to be promoting called "Yarr!" It's a pirate game.

Will you dress up in pirate gear?
I will... I'm going to be the female version of Johnny Depp.

What's CES?
It's the Consumer Electronics Convention—it has nothing to do with the adult industry, so I'm excited. And since it's at the same time as AEE, all the porn fans and consumer fans can mingle. It's even being held at the Sands Expo; they're both in the same building! It's smart. The guys can tell their wives they're going to CES, but really they're going to AEE.

Speaking of Vegas, you've been nominated for three AVN awards, including "Best Porn Star Web Site." What makes NikkiBenz.com the best?
Exclusive content. I shoot all of it myself, I produce everything myself. It's nice to be recognized for that because there's a lot of work that goes into it... Even though you can see me doing a girl/girl scene on such and such website, the stuff I produce is different; it's my own imagination going into the filming of the scene and I think the fans appreciate that.

On December 21st, "Nikki Benz Superstar" will come out, along with your first ever blowbang. How was it?

Was there any new challenge to it, or did you feel like you were dealing with one penis plus two more?

When they realized how many hits the episode got, they requested me back, changed my outfit to be more appropriate—not so Halloweeny—and they ended up giving me a two-year contract.

Are you as much of a sports brain as your character is?
No, the show is scripted. I didn't know a lot about the NFL when I started, but I'm learning now. I was, because I grew up in Canada, always into hockey and I do like basketball.

Which hockey team do you root for?
Because I am from Toronto, I'm gonna say the Maple Leaves, even though they haven't been good for a while. I have to support my hometown team.

You mentioned in another interview that working on "Cubed" has made you consider pursuing mainstream comedic roles. Has anything come along?
No, but I welcome it, because I really do like comedy. Everything is so fast paced, it's exciting! I've done a few B-movies though.

B-Movies?
One of them… Steven Bauer was in it. I don't remember the name. I've done a few mainstream projects, but obviously the focus of my career is adult. I would never say to myself, "OK, I'm going to try and cross over." It's kind of slowly happening that way, but I never set out to do that. I've always wanted to be an adult star.

When did you decide you wanted to be an adult performer?
I was almost 21, I lived in Toronto, and I was a dancer. I wanted to make some money before college, and I started stripping. Then I was making, like, retarded money, so I was like, "I'm not going to college!" My boyfriend at the time was huge into Jenna Jameson, and I had no clue who she was, but when I did some research I was like: OK, she sounds smart, business savvy, she's beautiful, and I want to do that.

Looking at your movie listing—which is pretty impressive—I noticed you directed a movie in 2005...
No, they gave me credit to sell the movie more, but I never directed it. That pisses me off actually, because when I direct my first movie, it will be like they already took that hype from me. You know what I mean.

Yeah, that's incredibly lame of him. Are you thinking of directing anytime soon?
Maybe. Now that I'm signed with Penthouse, I am definitely going to write a script for a movie, and maybe I will co-direct it.

Is there anyone you haven't worked with that you'd like to?
If Jenna Jameson or Jill Kelly ever came out of retirement, I would love to work with them. I don't see that happening though. Other than that, Manuel Ferrara.

Has shooting porn affected the way you have sex in your personal life?
My sex on film is a lot rougher and more hardcore; at home it's pretty normal. I don't date male performers, I date civilians, and they can't handle the porn sex, it's too much. I've given civilians the option, I've said "I can fuck you like a pornstar," and they're curious, so they say yes, but then they get scared because they think I'm going to break their dick.
