Naked Me: Social Disruption, Openness, And Also Nudity

HARDCORE

The people behind Naked Me recently hopped on a scooter bare-ass naked (save for helmets) and rode it across Sydney Harbour Bridge in full view of dozens of cars and cops and God knows how many surveillance cameras. Why? Because they're down with "body rights and sharing [their] naked selves." That's a good enough reason for us. We're sure the wind felt great, too.

Truth be told, we don't understand everything written down on their info page. They talk about making Naked Me a global movement, how they stand for "social disruption, openness and cultural change," and they they ask you to join them in creating "visual media that is artistic, unique, daring, subversive, absurd, funny or just flat-out outrageous." It feels a tad vague to us, but perhaps that's the point--they're giving you murky wishes in order to spark something unique. It's definitely worked, for their website has a range of submissions: drawings, public art, and a bunch of bold photographs.

If you feel so inspired, perhaps you should join them! Or you could start small and follow them on Twitter. We're not here to pressure you to do things.
