Kanela: Learning To Crawl

In a carpeted apartment room, sweet-faced, 20-year-old Kanela lets Joe Pusher inspect her. "Well, you definitely have some ass," he says, smacking it. "Do you mind if I smack it?"

Pusher is our go-to guy for this particular angle on the porn industry—the craigslist side that has nothing to do with enterprising boyfriends, talent scouts at strip clubs, or college women doing a lot of research and taking a plunge. He has Kanela tell us how long ago they met ("30 minutes," she says in a voice Jesse Jane made famous, but to Kanela seems natural), and we know that once she finishes stripping, he will have her crawl to him, "ass in the air, top down, mouth wide open," because we've seen this before.

She doesn't disappoint.

There are many things to learn about porn, and we've read enough interviews to know that much of Porno-Standard procedure is learned on the job. Pusher shows Kanela that first she must crawl—metaphorically and literally—and later explains the fine points, like making eye contact while delivering a blowjob.
