Is This A For Real Topless Photo Of Miley Cyrus?

Around the internet, sources are claiming that this photo is a never before seen outtake from Miley's 2013 Maxim shoot with photographer Brian Bowen Smith. Is it true, or just another rumor?

We're of two minds about it: on the one hand, we are sure, without a doubt, that there are topless (if not fully nude, or extremely hardcore) photos of Miley Cyrus out there somewhere. (Let's be serious, guys, it's Miley Cyrus.) On the other hand, we're not convinced that this photo, specifically, is one of those naughty pictures sure to be in existence somewhere. We can't say for sure why we have some doubts--maybe it's that good old celebrity nudes spidey sense, or maybe we just don't want to get our hopes up--but until we get some independent confirmation, we're filing this one under M for maybe (also for Miley).
