Books are in a tailspin, so why not add some tail to get them back up in the public eye? That's what these literary lovers decided to do, by championing books the best way they know how, nakedly. And up we go!

According to the Huffington Post (link below), "It's spring in New York City, and that means the city's most topless literary club is back in action. Members of the The Outdoor Co-Ed Topless Pulp Fiction Appreciation Society bared their breasts in Central Park on Friday, and then again Saturday while lounging on the rooftop sundeck of a certain 'nude-friendly, gay-friendly, everything-friendly boutique hotel.'"

They didn't teach the classics like that when we were in school. If they did we would have paid more attention.

If you didn't catch the news when it was first reported, the HuffPo brings you up to speed: "For the uninitiated, OCETPFA formed a few years ago. It's the group's mission to "make reading sexy," as well as remind New Yorkers that toplessness is very legal in New York City."

Okay, so now you know. Been looking down your nose at book clubs? Well, maybe it's time to reevaluate and get one started up in your hometown. You can't let the New Yorkers have all the fun!
