Ladies, you've all been there. You're on a date with some hunk and it's time to get busy, and you don't want to have to run to the store to buy a box of dong bags, so you play a game of Russian roulette. Never again, thanks to the condom dress!
According to The Mirror (link below), the condom dress is the latest fashion trend to hit the runway this season.
At an international Aids conference in Melbourne Brazilian based artist Adriana Bertini launched her glitzy range of dresses made out of unused condoms. But the activist is no Johnny-come-lately, her Condom Couture range has been spreading awareness of safe sex for a while now.
Her workshops help spread awareness by encouraging young people to get to grips with condoms in a creative environment. Some of her designs have even made it to the catwalk to spread the message as safe sex and female empowerment have been central to her designs.
Not everybody is a fan though. One social networker posted: "On the one hand, I appreciate the creativity... on the other hand, it's hard to remove the "wet" look all condoms seem to have and it's a bit gross in most of those pics."
