Nicki Minaj’s VMA Wardrobe Malfunction

Super Bowl 38 had all the thrills and chills that come with two best teams in the National Football League facing off for the championship. Probably the best play of the game was Janet Jackson and the infamous “wardrobe malfunction”. That might have been the first wardrobe malfunction; Nicki Minaj had one of the best at the VMAs.  

Minaj helped open the show with her hit “Anaconda” wearing a racy green sparkling bra and green sparkling short shorts. Then she joined fellow pop stars and all around hotties Ariana Grande and Jessie J to sing the summer jam “Bang Bang”. It might have been a quick change that didn’t work or a gift from the gods, either way Minai did her best to keep herself covered. It’s not clear if her tight black dress exposed some skin or not, but it is pretty obvious she ended up showing more than she planned. With one hand on her outfit Minaj kept her balloons from escaping.  

Minaj maintained her cool and the opening number went on. One has to wonder what would have happened if Minaj had a hand mic instead of a headset. That would have been the greatest wardrobe malfunction of all time. It would have put “Nipplegate” to shame.
