In the most recent issue of Marie Claire, Cameron Diaz admitted she’s not opposed to on-screen nudity, but only if it is part of the story. I would like to point out that Diaz did a film called Sex Tape, which showed an awful lot of her butt, but not much else. I would think that nudity, full frontal nudity, would be part of the story in a movie called Sex Tape.
Diaz who is promoting her upcoming remake of the musical Annie also admitted that singing in front of people scares her more than being nude on screen. I can understand being afraid to sing in front of people, especially if you aren’t that great of a singer. I guess the cast and crew helped Diaz get through here fear and sing her heart out. We will find out the results of said singing when the film comes out. Still, I find it slightly odd that Diaz claims to not be opposed to nudity and yet still hasn’t gone topless or full frontal in a mainstream film. It is pretty clear she can take her top off for pictures of herself in a pool, and bare her breasts in a softcore fetish video, but not taking her top off in a movie called Sex Tape?
Sure, looking at her butt is wonderful. She has a very cute butt and at age 42 her body still looks great. I guess the only way to get her nude on screen is to have star in a film called Cameron Diaz Is Finally Topless. There is no way that story wouldn’t call for nudity.
