Hayden Panettiere In A Towel Is Why We Love Video Game Technology

Video games are becoming more like movies, and movie and television stars are starting to make the leap into video games. Ellen Page lent her voice and her image for the PS4 game Beyond: Two Souls and now Hayden Panettiere is lending her voice and body to the upcoming PS4 horror game Until Dawn. I have no idea what Until Dawn is about, I don’t even really like horror games, but after watching this demo of the game that includes Panettiere in a towel, I am going to buy a PS4 and play this game over and over and over again.  

The game is described as kind of a 1980s horror movie, a nightmarish world where players are in the shoes of these would-be murder victims, with the goal of surviving, my guess is surviving until the morning. I don’t know if you get spend the whole game as Panettiere in a towel, but it is a horror game and if it is following horror movie rules, she’ll be in little to no clothing. Maybe there is a code to unlock a wet t-shirt and short shorts, or something. Granted it’s not the real Panettiere, it’s pretty damn close.  

To say the graphics are impressive is an understatement; the character really does look like Panettiere. But as computers and graphics evolve, so will the games. Until Dawn isn’t the first game to show barely dressed characters and it won’t be the last. Though, it is the first to feature a toweled Panettiere so that makes it pretty awesome.
