CELEBRITY

If you've ever watched the 1956 film adaptation of Tolstoy's classic tome War and Peace, there's a good chance that you snored your way through it. Yeah, that might sound a little bit harsh but let's face it: 1956 was a real bore. But don't let that steer you away from giving it another shot! This time around, it's going to be a whole hell of a lot more interesting! Jam packed with controversial incestuous sex scenes, starring the gorgeous Gillian Anderson, the BBC's adaption of War and Peace is sure to be anything but vanilla.

Noted as being one of the most anticipated drama's of the year, War and Peace also happens to have one impressive line up. Other than Gillian Anderson, performers like Jim Broadbent, Kenneth Cranham, Rebecca Front, Lily James, Paul Dano, Ade Edmodson, Greta Scacchi, and James Norton are also on board. Gillian will be playing the role of Anna Pavlovna Scherer, a gossip hungry socialite hostess with a charming yet manipulative personality.

With the addition of controversial taboo sex scenes and an impressive list of performers, BBC's adaption of War and Peace is sure to be anything but vanilla. Although we don't have an actual release date just yet, the show is set to be released before the end of the year!
