In a continued attempt to ignore Kurt Cobain's last bit of advice to her that it's better to burn out than fade away, Courtney Love is now touting the existence of a sex tape featuring the deceased rock star and herself. As the self-appointed executor of his legacy, Love has to make sure that everyone knows that she and Cobain were once married and had sex, especially since she lost custody of the only other proof that they consummated their relationship.
According to Blabbermouth (link below), Love attempted in the most forced way possible to casually mention the sex tape's existence during a screening of the new documentary Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck at the Tribeca Film Festival.
Love's revelation came during a question-and-answer session following the festival premiere of "Montage Of Heck", director Brett Morgen's documentary about Cobain. Love, who gave Morgen unrestricted access to video and audio recordings from her and Cobain's personal archives, said, "Somehow Brett found the sex tape. Everyone makes one sex tape once in their lives."
Love also revealed during the talk that other intimate footage of her and Cobain was shot by HOLE guitarist Eric Erlandson, who was Love's boyfriend before Cobain. She told the audience, "Eric would come over to our house and shoot really intimate stuff with me and Kurt."
Thinking about your ex-boyfriend coming over to film you and your new boyfriend fucking may sound weird, but if you're Courtney Love, it's just another Tuesday.
