In the days before the internets, horny teenagers had to scramble to find something to jerk off to, usually settling for hints of cleavage in mom's Lillian Vernon catalog. Now lingerie company Jane Pain has presented a throwback to those halcyon days with their new ads featuring hints of cleavage. The only problem is, the cleavage in this particular campaign is an elbow, a knee, and an armpit. God damnit! How am I supposed to get off to an armpit?
According to The Huffington Post (link below), Jane Pain even went so far as to include the actual bare body part, almost as a fuck you to anybody hoping to get off to the pics...
A photo of the actual body part used accompanies the ad, along with the line, "If it can make your armpit [or knee or elbow] look sexy, imagine what it can do in the right place."
This is not the brand's first foray into edgy advertising. Back in 2012, Jane Pain's provocative campaign featured double-take-inducing photo editing that made models appear a lot more exposed than we're used to seeing in print ads.
You know what Jane Pain? Your brand isn't just making me think of Warrant's late lead singer, it's also making me question things. Do I have an armpit fetish? Do I secretly want to fuck my girlfriend's armpit while she sleeps? Did I murder that wayward drifter last weekend? These are questions I don't want to be asking myself over and over and over again.
