iOS 9 Wants to Track How Often You Have Sex!

null

iPhones really are marvels of technology. Besides making phone calls (most of the time), surfing the web, taking pictures, watching videos, it can even help keep track of how many steps you take, your calorie intake, and when the new operating system (iOS 9) comes out it can even keep track how often you have sex.

This new feature in iOS 9 will not only help keep track of how many times you have sex and whether or not you used protection, it will also keep track of many aspects of reproductive health.

The reproductive health section will also allow you to track basal body temperature, cervical mucus quality, menstruation, ovulation test results, and spotting.

Similar the other health related programs the data will represented in graph form or numerical read-out. Users also have the option to share the information with other apps. Of course all information in the Health app will be private unless the user wants to share the information.

Even though it wasn’t talked about in the big Apple’s iOS 9 presentation at the WWDC 2015, it’s really cool that they are building a program especially for women and their health needs since most of the tech industry ignores women’s health issues. Hats off to Apple for taking this big step.
