What Else Is There To Do In Alabama Besides Cheat?

With the hack of Ashley Madison's cheater database, adulterers all over the United States did their best to poker face their way through the news. While I’m sure there were some surprises that certain people used the website, it’s not that surprising that one of the most conservative states in the union had the most users. I’m looking at you Alabama.  

According to Jake Popham, an aspiring data scientist (his words, not mine), Alabama is the most adulterous state in the union, followed closely by Colorado, Washington DC, and New Jersey.  

The analysis showed Alabamians spent about $5.50 per capita on the site. Colorado, which came in second, spent about $4.50. The most-faithful state in the country, West Virginia, barely managed $1 per person.  

It should also be noted that hackers stole the personal information of around 36 million different Ashley Madison users and more leaks are expected in the near future. So, don’t worry Alabama, by this time next week you may not be top of the list anymore!  Another point to consider is that this might just be a case of dumb luck. When listing the states alphabetically Alabama comes first and if someone is setting up a fake account people could just be picking the first state on the list. Though I would think that if you are setting up a fake identity, you would want to pick a sexy state like Hawaii or California or North Dakota.  

It will be interesting to see if Ashley Madison has trouble staying afloat or if a rival adultery website will take over. Should be a fun couple of weeks for sure. Well, fun for everyone who wasn’t hiding the fact they were on that website.
