According to Merriam-Webster, accident is defined as a sudden event (such as a crash) that is not planned or intended and that causes damage or injury, and/or an event that is not planned or intended; an event that occurs by chance. So when Ariana Grande decided have someone film her locking lips with Liz Gillies and then posted it on Instagram, it is in fact not an accident—it’s a historical and quite sexy moment that deserved to be forever preserved on film.  

Yes, by now we all have heard Ariana Grande proclaim that she didn’t mean to post it, but that begs the question of why film it in the first place. Come one, Ariana Grande, you knew it was going to be super hot and you knew everyone would be talking about it. Look, I’m not complaining, I’m happy you and your good friend Liz Gillies gave each other a little peck on the mouth and recorded it. Though I do wonder how many times you guys practiced and if there is any video evidence of those practice kisses. Maybe she will accidentally post a couple of those as well.  

Regardless, it wasn’t an accident to post it, and we are all happy it ended up online. But hey, if you want to pretend it wasn’t on purpose, we’ll gladly play along with you as long as you keep accidentally posting videos like this on Instagram.
