The Music Video for “Bang Bang” Has Some Great Metaphors

Might Have to Watch a Couple Times to Catch All Elizabeth Gillies's Metaphors

Some of you may know Gigi and some of you may not. Well, if you don’t, she’s a singer and her song “Bang Bang” is the story of girl in search of . . . something. You know, I had a hard time penning down what she wanted. Yeah, just couldn’t put my finger on it.  

Let’s see if we can figure this out together: Gigi is in bed wearing little to no clothing, she’s playing with a chain while wearing only a skirt and bra, she’s walking down a hallway kind of sweaty, and banging on stuff while saying like, “Bang, bang I want it,” and, “Are you in it? Are you in it?” Man, I’m really unsure what metaphor Gigi is trying to tell us. It’s real head scratcher, this one, so I guess I’m going to have to watch it a couple more time to see if I can figure it out.  

Oh, I guess I should also mention that Gigi is actually Elizabeth Gillies and this from the FX series Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll. And while it might not be a “real” music video, I have to say that this is one of the best music videos I have seen in a long time. Sure, it’s pretty heavy handed, but I mean that in a good way. Elizabeth Gillies is really hot and I would hate to miss any of her metaphors, if you know what I mean.
