For Gemma Whelan, the Sex Wasn’t the Most Awkward Thing About Working On “Game of Thrones”

We have all heard a story or two about the awkwardness of doing a sex scene, especially on a show like Game of Thrones (2011-2016) - but for Gemma Whelan, the sex stuff was the least awkward part about working on the show. At least that's what she told Graham Norton on his show.

Sadly, Gemma Whelan has yet to go nude on the show, which is kind of amazing when you think about it. I'm trying to think of any other major character (who is still alive) that we haven't seen nude yet. But on the upside, there are rumors of maybe a Yara and Daenerys Targaryen affair in the new season, so fingers crossed! But that doesn't mean Gemma Whelan has left us hanging in the wind. There was one scene, I think we all know which scene I'm talking about, that made a lasting impression on us from last season. Really helped to define her character, so to speak.

Gemma Whelan also shares a hilarious story about her audition for the show, but I don't want to spoil that. Let's just say it involves the scene with the farting horse. After watching this clip I'm sure you'll never look at that scene again.
