“The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo” to Get a Rooney Mara-Free Sequel

No One Can Replace Rooney Mara, But Someone Could Do Their Own Sexy Take on Lisbeth

I'm all for a The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) sequel, as there are more books in the series and the David Fincher adaptation is was great, but doing "The Girl In The Spider's Web" without Rooney Mara? I hesitate to jump on board with this project, even if it's filled with as much nudity as the first one. Rooney Mara was an awesome Lisbeth Salander; she had the edge, the grit, and the fantastic nude body. I don't know if anyone could replace her... or could someone?

Well, this movie is going to happen whether we are all on board with it or not, so just in case someone is listening, here are a few suggestions on who could play the next Lisbeth Salander. Keep in mind I didn't replace Rooney Mara because no one can ever replace her, but if the role must be filled, one of these very talented and very sexy actresses would bring their own interesting and very sexy take on the character. Kate Mara

Mia Wasikowska

Kristen Stewart

Noomi Rapace

Léa Seydoux

Tatiana Maslany

Katie Jarvis

Personally, I would love Alicia Vikander to land the role. I have no idea if she's interested or auditioned, but she's one of my favorites. She's super talented, super hot, and I would love to see her play this type of character. Then again, my first pick would be Rooney Mara so... you know.
