Do you want me to babble on and on before I give you the nude versions of this year's Academy Award nominees for Best Supporting Actor? Or should I just jump right to the skintastic vids and pics? Oh, ok. Fine. Jumping right to it then! Here are the hottie men nominated for that coveted award, and where they went nude (or sort of nude) in their nominated or previous roles.
Thanks to Mr. Man for the clips and pics. Head over there for so much more!
Del Toro has proven over the years to be an understated and powerful force on screen. Classically handsome? No. But his usually beefy bod, his brooding eyes, his ability to use his eyes and face to convey what words can't, it's like this Puerto Rico native has James Dean's spirit living inside him. And that's where his sexiness comes from! His enigmatic nature. He's nominated for One Battle After Another, and it'll be a tough call as he's up against Sean Penn, nominated for the same film in an equally compelling role. Del Toro has almost no skin scenes in his films. He's never gone that route, and I guess no director has ever asked him to take anything off. RUDE! But he does show us a bit in this clip playing the notorious drug kingpin.
Is there anyone who hasn't seen some of this electrifyingly hot young man in some film of his or another? He has quite the collection of shirtless (and more!) scenes, but most remember his masturbation scene in Saltburn in which Barry Keoghan watches his spank the monkey through a crack in the door. Then he goes in and laps up the remaining water and fluids in Elordi's tub! He's nominate dfor his role as The Creature in the most recent adaptation of Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein, where he manages to be both grotesque and sexy at the same time. He also shows off a fair amount of his body in that as well, albeit covered in scars and sutures and tons of makeup.
This London-born actor is nominated for his striking role as a bluesman barricaded in a juke joint fighting vampires in the phenomenal Sinners. We had to go back thirty years to find some of his fleshier roles, but its his voice and charm that get us going!
Penn has always electrified the screen, whether he's playing a stoner surfer in the genre-redefining Fast Times at Ridgemont High, or going slightly full frontal as San Francisco's first openly gay politician, Harvey Milk, in Milk. He's asexually frightening in his nominated role as the psychotic military commander with really fucked up hair in One Battle After Another, but you have to go back a few years for some good skin scenes. Check him out in the star-studded crime thriller U-Turn.
This celebrated actor, both in his home country of Sweden and in the States, is also the father of eight boys, seven of them actors, including Alexander (Pillion, True Blood) and Bill (Pennywise in It parts one and two, and It: Welcome to Derry). He's been around for decades, in everything from Good Will Hunting to Dune to Mamma Mia! He;'s worked with auteur director Lars Von Trier six times. His turn in the film adaptation of The Unbearable Lightness of Being is probably one of the reasons I sought out the book and became a big Milan Kundera fan. (Look it up!) And check out Stellan in his full-frontal role in Aberdeen (2000).
