By far, the most underrated women in sports have been women in surfing. Even in terms of sex appeal, the tall blonde surfer image traditionally conjures up youthful Californian men. However, there are plenty of women serving the sport well, who embody the sexy surfer image while commanding the waves.

Sexy, confident, and willing to take on the heaviest waves, modern-day surfers do a whole lot more than look good in a wetsuit. We created this list of surfers, hoping to demonstrate a bevy of beautiful women who represent the most fearless among us.
