Lana Rhoades Joins Forces with Creators to Launch Game-Changing Adult Platform

PORNSTARS

Former adult film star Lana Rhoades is stepping back into the spotlight—this time as a co-owner and chief creative operator of Hidden, a new adult content platform billing itself as the “anti-OnlyFans.” The announcement will be made during the platform’s live event, the “Goon-A-Thon,” where Lana Rhoades will be formally introduced as part of the leadership team.

Founded earlier this year by TikTok and OnlyFans creator Stella Barey, Hidden was created in response to what Barey describes as the overwhelming pressure and exploitative conditions often faced by adult content creators across major platforms.

“I spent five-and-a-half years posting on multiple platforms every single day just to keep up,” said Barey in an interview with Wired. “I wanted to create something where sex workers aren’t just surviving—but thriving.”

With over 115,000 users and 2,200 creators, Hidden aims to disrupt the creator economy by building an ecosystem run by sex workers for sex workers, with transparent policies, higher payouts, and a stronger emphasis on community collaboration.

Though she no longer performs in adult films, Lana Rhoades is leveraging her experience in the industry to help shape Hidden’s strategy and culture.

“There’s a huge lack of transparency,” Rhoades said. “Creators are often left guessing about shadowbans, payout issues, or why their content suddenly stops performing. Most of the corporate alternatives in this space were created by people who’ve never posted a single piece of content.”

Lana Rhoades emphasized that Hidden will treat creators like collaborators, not commodities. Her role will involve overseeing creative development, including feature films, educational content, live events, and even a clothing line. She said the platform is designed to put control back in the hands of performers—especially important amid increasing scrutiny and regulation of adult content globally.

Hidden’s emergence comes as platforms like OnlyFans face increased regulation, including mandatory background checks for new creators, as announced by CEO Keily Blair. These changes, along with rising age verification requirements and content restrictions across the industry, have fueled concerns among sex workers about deplatforming and shrinking autonomy.

“With all these changes and the rise of conservatism, it’s been really nice knowing I’ve already built this platform that we’re not all going to just get kicked off of tomorrow,” Barey said.

Lana Rhoades’ reemergence also comes amid renewed public debate over her past in adult films. A viral story recently circulated claiming she had publicly begged studios to delete her 400 pornographic films to protect her son.

Former adult star Lana Rhoades is begging every site to delete her 400+ scenes, revealing in a tearful 20-minute speech, “I was 19, broke, and groomed—I want every video gone so my son never sees his mom like that.”

However, that narrative was quickly debunked—on the same day the story ran, Lana Rhoades appeared on an hour-long podcast (Jeff FM) where she addressed the subject with a more grounded tone.

“It is what it is,” she said, dismissing the viral claim while remaining candid about her career. Over the years, Rhoades has openly discussed the challenges she faced in the adult industry but has also defended her autonomy and sexual agency.

Now, with Hidden, Rhoades and Barey aim to redefine the future of adult content. Their focus: creator empowerment, financial equity, and community-driven innovation.

As the adult creator economy continues to evolve—and platforms like OnlyFans begin to face serious competition—Hidden’s growth may signal a broader shift in how adult content is produced, shared, and monetized. Rhoades’ involvement adds star power, but her role also brings hard-earned insight from someone who has lived both the highs and lows of the industry.

“A lot of people told me there will never be anything except OnlyFans,” said Barey. “But we’re proving that it’s possible to build something better.”

How will Hidden (h1dd3n) stack up against the sea of OnlyFans copycats? That remains to be seen. But one thing’s clear: Stella Barey has a clear vision and sharp instincts, and with Lana Rhoades joining the team, the platform might get the spotlight it needs to break through.
