Denise Richards Rakes In Up to $300,000 a Month on OnlyFans and Her Ex Wants Half

New court filings reveal that actress Denise Richards’ estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, is seeking half of her earnings from OnlyFans, claiming he helped build her account and owns the rights to many of the photos used on her page.

According to documents filed Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court and obtained by multiple outlets, 53-year-old Aaron Phypers alleges that 54-year-old Denise Richards earns between $200,000 and $300,000 per month from a subscription-based platform she joined in 2022. He argues that the content and income were created jointly during their marriage.

“I helped [Richards] to build her OnlyFans account,” Phypers stated in his declaration. “I hold the intellectual property rights to most, if not all, of the pictures that are in use on her page. She has cut me off from accessing that joint income that we earned together.”

On OnlyFans, Denise Richards mixes glamour with intimacy, posting everything from bikini and lingerie shots to racier content that goes beyond what fans see on Instagram. The actress says she also includes candid, everyday moments to stay authentic with followers. Richards has called the platform empowering, explaining that sharing “sexy” photos, including topless images, allows her to celebrate her own sexuality confidently.

Her soon-to-be ex-husband, Aaron Phypers, is asking the court to grant him half of what he describes as “jointly earned OnlyFans business income,” asserting that his claim concerns property rights rather than spousal support.

The filings also describe Phypers as being in financial distress. He claims to be “out of money and financially desperate,” saying he has fallen behind on rent and utilities and is “about to be evicted.”

Reps for both Richards and Phypers have not commented publicly on the filing.

The financial dispute comes amid an ongoing legal battle between the couple, who married in 2018. Richards, known for her roles in Wild Things and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, previously testified that Phypers became violent during her recovery from a cosmetic procedure in May. She alleged that he struck her in the head while she was recuperating from surgery on her breast implants and a tummy tuck.

Denise Richards has requested that a temporary restraining order against Phypers be made permanent, requiring him to stay at least 100 yards from her for five years. She also testified about earlier alleged incidents of abuse, claiming that Phypers slammed her head to the floor in April 2024 and hit her again in July after their separation.

Phypers has denied all allegations of abuse, telling the court he does not harm his wife and contending that Richards “bruises easily” and was prone to accidental injuries. He also accused her of abusing alcohol and prescription painkillers and of being unfaithful during their marriage.

A witness, identified as Phypers’ cousin Kathleen McAllister, testified that she saw Phypers hit Richards during a January 2022 altercation, claiming the actress immediately developed a black eye.

Richards was married to actor Charlie Sheen from 2002 to 2006. The couple has two daughters, Sami and Lola. In 2011, she adopted a third daughter, Eloise, as a single mother. She later married actor Aaron Phypers in 2018.

The divorce proceedings, still underway in Los Angeles County, have drawn national attention both for the couple’s dueling abuse claims and for the unusual fight over the profits of Richards’ OnlyFans account, a source of income that Phypers now calls “joint property.”

In addition to earning between $200,000 and $300,000 per month from her OnlyFans account, Denise Richards’ net worth is estimated to fall between $6 million and $12 million, stemming from her decades-long career in modeling, acting, and brand endorsements.
