OnlyFans Model Married to Belfast Murder Suspect Arrested in Spain on Drug Charges

A 20-year-old OnlyFans model (Madison Allen, now Madison Smyth), married to a Belfast man accused of murder, has been arrested in Spain after police allegedly discovered nearly a kilogram of crystal meth and 30 grams of cannabis resin in her car during a routine traffic stop.

Civil Guard officers stopped Madison Smyth, originally from Newtownabbey (Northern Ireland), on the N-332 near Torrevieja in the early hours of 8 September. She was accompanied by a British female friend in an Audi A5 Cabrio when police ordered a search of the vehicle. Officers said they became suspicious after observing the women attempting to conceal items inside the car.

Madison Smyth, who married 27-year-old murder suspect Jonny Smyth earlier this year. Jonny Smyth is a former gym owner who, prior to his arrest, appeared to be an aspiring fitness influencer on Instagram.

For her own arrest, Maidson was remanded in custody for 10 days before securing release on 19 September with a €20,000 ($24,000) bail bond. As part of her bail conditions, she was required to surrender her passport and sign in regularly at court in Torrevieja.

Police sources confirmed that the arrest followed the discovery of the drugs hidden in the vehicle. Smyth reportedly told investigators she had been forced into transporting the substances after being threatened by a gunman who showed her photos of her family and home. According to her account, she was ordered to collect a bag from one location and deliver it to another near Torrevieja’s beach.

Despite her claims, the young model spent 10 days in prison before her bail was granted. She has not commented publicly on the allegations but marked her release with a bikini-clad Instagram post to her 16,000 followers, writing: “Heard y’ll were hungryyy.”

Her husband, Jonny Smyth, was extradited from Portugal in March after being arrested in Braga on a European Arrest Warrant. He is one of two men under investigation for the murder of Belfast father-of-two John George, whose body was found in a lemon grove near Rojales, Alicante, on 7 January. George had been reported missing after failing to return home to Northern Ireland in December.

The second suspect, Czech national Michel Maly, remains under judicial investigation but is currently on bail. No formal charges have yet been filed against either man, in line with Spanish procedure, where suspects are indicted only shortly before trial.

Civil Guard officers stated earlier this year that George had been shot and stabbed before his body was discovered. In April, the force confirmed its investigation into his death had concluded, following the capture and extradition of Smyth.

Madison and Jonny Smyth married in a secret ceremony in Gibraltar on Valentine’s Day while he was on the run. Since his imprisonment, she has publicly described their conjugal visits in Spanish prison facilities, sparking anger among George’s family.

If convicted on drug trafficking charges, Madison Smyth faces a prison sentence of between three and six years. Her husband could face a considerably longer term if indicted and convicted of the murder of John George. Spanish authorities confirmed that the investigation into Madison Smyth’s arrest remains ongoing.
