Is Sophie Rain retired? No. Despite rumors to the contrary, she's still very much active on her OnlyFans, even if she did move out of the bop house.
OnlyFans star Sophie Rain is not retiring from adult content, despite recent rumors. Instead, the 20-year-old influencer confirmed she has left the Bop House, the high-profile creator mansion she co-founded in 2024, to pursue projects on her own.
“The Bop House will always be a huge part of my life, but lately, I’ve felt like I was losing my own voice inside of it,” Rain said in a statement. “What started as an empowering space began to feel controlling, with certain members wanting to dictate how I should act, post, and live.”
Sophie Rain acknowledged a falling out with fellow creator Camilla Araujo, saying the two had “grown in different directions” and that it became “impossible to ignore.”
“Leaving wasn’t an easy decision, but I realized I needed to put my mental health and personal freedom first,” she said. “I’m grateful for the memories, the success, and the sisterhood we once had, but it’s time for me to move forward.”
The Bop House, often described as a “Gen Z Playboy Mansion,” quickly gained attention after Rain and co-founder Aishah Sofey launched it in Miami. The group of young creators split a reported $75,000 monthly rent, using the mansion as a base for filming and content creation. At its peak, the house was reportedly generating $12–15 million per month across OnlyFans, TikTok, and Instagram.
Sophie Rain, who has more than 7 million Instagram followers, was the public face of the venture. But she says independence and creative freedom are “non-negotiable.”
Despite leaving the BOP house, Sophie Rain has stayed active in the spotlight. She recently celebrated her 21st birthday in Las Vegas with a viral moment when NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal joined her in the DJ booth.
Earlier in September, she also announced her “Gooning for Good” fundraiser, pledging 24 hours of OnlyFans income to Feeding America.
Sophie Rain has made it clear this is only the beginning. “This is just the start of a new chapter, on my own terms,” she said. “No more behind-the-scenes drama, just me.”
When Sophie Rain turned 21 this September, the milestones piled up fast: a surprise Las Vegas birthday party with Shaquille O’Neal, a charity pledge donating 24 hours of OnlyFans income to Feeding America, and a headline-making decision to walk away from Bop House, the content mansion she co-founded less than a year ago.
For Rain, the whirlwind reflects more than just a birthday. It’s the start of her second act one, where she insists on reclaiming her independence.
Born on September 22, 2004, Sophie Rain grew up in a family of six that, at one point, relied on food stamps. By 20, she had become one of OnlyFans’ top earners, claiming to have made more than $43 million in 2024 alone. With more than 7 million Instagram followers, she has used her platform to support her family, paying off her parents’ mortgage and taxes, and even gifting her brother a BMW.
Her vision extended beyond personal success. In 2024, alongside fellow creator Aishah Sofey, she launched Bop House, a Miami mansion designed as a collaborative hub for OnlyFans stars. Styled as a “Gen Z Playboy Mansion,” the six-bedroom home quickly became a viral hotspot, pulling in a reported $12–15 million per month in content revenue.
Sophie Rain was its public face, charismatic, ambitious, and unafraid of the stigma that comes with sex work.
“I wanted Bop House to help destigmatize the industry,” she told reporters earlier this year.
Behind the scenes, tensions mounted. Rain confirmed a falling out with co-star Camilla Araujo, describing how creative differences became “impossible to ignore.”
“The Bop House will always be a huge part of my life, but lately, I’ve felt like I was losing my own voice inside of it,” Rain said in July. “What started as an empowering space began to feel controlling, with certain members wanting to dictate how I should act, post, and live.”
For Rain, the split was about preserving her mental health. “Leaving wasn’t an easy decision, but I realized I needed to put my mental health and personal freedom first,” she said.
Rain’s exit coincided with a milestone birthday, one she chose to mark not with champagne but with philanthropy. On September 30, she hosted “Gooning for Good,” a one-day fundraiser donating all of her OnlyFans income to Feeding America.
“I wanted my 21st to mean something beyond a party,” Rain explained. “My fans show up for me daily, so I thought — why not flip it and use one day of income to show up for families who need help the most?”
Earlier, she had quietly donated $10,000 to Hypers Kids Africa, a nonprofit supporting 67 children in Uganda. The group replied with a video of the children dancing beneath a banner that read "Happy Birthday."
Still, Rain wasn’t entirely without spectacle. Days before her fundraiser, she went viral when NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal joined her 21st birthday celebration in Las Vegas. In clips shared online, Shaq is seen in the DJ booth beside Rain, the pair dancing as the crowd cheered.
As she moves forward, Rain is focused on projects under her own control.
“This is just the start of a new chapter, on my own terms,” she said. “No more behind-the-scenes drama, just me.”
Far from retiring, Sophie Rain has signaled that she intends to use her platform, which spans OnlyFans, TikTok, and Instagram, to shape not only her brand but the broader perception of digital sex work.
So no, Sophie Rain isn't retired from OnlyFans, and it appears she isn't planning on it any time soon.
“I’ll always root for the girls,” she said of her former Bop House collaborators. “But right now, I’m focused on being 100 percent myself, without compromise.”
