I'd forgotten all about the pain of my divorce when I became his roommate!
Violet was not thrilled with the idea of getting a divorce and moving out on her own, but when her husband quit putting effort into her and their marriage, she knew she had no choice but to go and move on. For weeks, she scoured online ads for rentals that might be suitable for her, and any place she could afford was in an area she didn’t feel comfortable living in. Then, one night, she spotted a stunning place! It had all the things she hoped for, and it was in an area that she knew would be perfect for her to feel safe in. One thing about this place was that she would have a roommate, and it would be a man. I’m not sure how I feel about living under a roof with a strange man, but he looks so handsome, and his place looks just perfect for me. Perhaps I’ll feel safer living with a man anyway. Violet thought to herself as she nervously clicked the button to send Shawn Andrews a message about his room for rent. She introduced herself in the DM and could feel in her gut that she would get the space. She may not have felt what else was about to unfold, though.
The following morning, Violet woke up and made a cup of tea so she could sit and go through her messages and see what awaited her for the day. To her delight, there was a response from her new potential roommate/landlord, Shawn Andrews. He wanted to meet with her that afternoon and seemed very interested in having her as his tenant. At 2 PM, Violet followed her GPS to 110 Whispering Wisteria Lane and pulled down the long floral-lined driveway to what looked like a resort oasis more than a house. Oh my god, this is unbelievable! She thought as she took in the lush foliage around the big, beautiful house that stood before her. “This is such a gorgeous place you have here!” Violet said after shaking Shawn’s hand and before sitting down on a chair to have a talk and get to know him. “Well, I never imagined I’d find myself in this position at this age, but I’m going through a divorce, and I’ve been looking for a place, and nothing really jumped out at me until I saw yours,” she added with a smile as Shawn took in her words as well as her beauty.
“And I didn’t imagine ending up with a woman for a roommate. Honestly, I figured there would be less drama and potential problems for me if I found a man to rent the space, but Violet, there’s something about you that feels…. right. So, if you’d like it, the space is yours.” Shawn said, placing a lease in front of her with a black ink pen. Violet didn’t even think twice. She picked up the pen and began signing her name on the simple 6-month lease while staring into her new landlord and roommate’s eyes. The two said goodbye, and Violet headed on her way. “I’m sure he’s not a serial killer,” she said into her phone while conversing with her sister on the ride home from Shawn’s place. “I know this will sound weird, but I swear we had chemistry. I felt butterflies when our eyes locked, and he couldn’t stop staring at me,” she added with a tone indicating she was both intrigued and perplexed. “Okay, I’m pulling into work, so I’ll talk to you later, sis! Love you!” She said before hanging up, grabbing her things, and heading inside for her afternoon shift at the hospital.
That night at work, she thought about what she’d put in storage and where she’d place her furniture in the bedroom she was renting from Shawn. She’d have her own private bathroom, bedroom, and sitting area at his place, and it would be plenty to get her going with her new life that she was both scared and excited to embark upon. That weekend, she got all moved in, and just as she looked around the room she’d now be calling home, there was a little knock at the door. She smiled as she opened it to her new roommate and landlord, Shawn. His eyes were so blue she lost herself in them every time she looked his way. “I was going to grill up a steak and thought maybe you’d like to join me. I’m sure you’re hungry after moving all day, and I thought maybe we could get to know one another a little bit more,” he said, holding a cold beer her way. “I like my steaks medium rare,” she said with a little laugh as she grabbed the beer and followed him down to the lanai.
“I didn’t expect to be someone’s roommate when I moved out, but I have to say having one that can grill as good as this makes me thankful that I do! I could get used to this!” Violet said as she took a second bite of the juicy steak Shawn placed before her. “I’m glad you like it,” he said, setting his plate beside her and pulling up a chair to join her. The two talked for hours, which whizzed by in a flash, and after a few beers each, it felt as though they were old friends catching up. The warm summer night was filled with laughter and unexpected magic that consumed them both. They began to have dinner together nightly; sometimes, she would cook for him, and other times, he for her; they grew closer and closer with each day that went by until Shawn asked his new roommate out to a concert. “You don’t have to look at it like a date. I had an extra ticket and couldn’t find anyone to go. I’d hate for it to go to waste.” He said, trying to make Violet feel more comfortable. That was the night that everything changed.
After a fantastic show, they pulled into the driveway, arriving home. Shawn opened Violet’s car door to be a gentleman while letting his roommate out of his car. As she stood up, their faces were inches apart, and somehow their eyes locked. Without thought, the two grabbed one another simultaneously and kissed feverishly in the driveway. They never took their hands off each other as they fumbled and stumbled into the house. As soon as the door opened, clothing flew in different directions as they eagerly undressed each other. “It’s been so long since anyone made me feel this way!” Violet whispered closely to Shawn’s parted lips. “You and me both,” he added, pulling her close and guiding her to his bedroom. “I think I’ve fallen in love with you, Violet,” he said, pulling away and brushing the hair from her face. She took a deep breath and began kissing him once again while pulling him in between her legs. “Make love to me,” she said breathlessly as she stared into his beautiful blue eyes.
Her back arched, and she gripped the sheets as his full length, so nice, thick, and long, slowly worked its way deep inside her. She welcomed his deep, pumping thrusts and ached for all he had to give her. Their bodies rocked back and forth, twisted together in a heated fury of passion and desire. He spoiled her in all ways, proving that he was such a giver in bed, bringing her to life over and over with every touch. She slid on top and rested her head on his chest as his thrusts continued slow and deep in and out of her. His hands gripped her hips, and his fingers ran up the curve in her spine. She gasped as his touch caused shivers of pleasure to rush through her body, and his passionate kiss took her breath away each time their lips met.
She didn’t want him ever to let her go, and it was evident he did not want to either. “I want you to cum inside me, Shawn. I need to feel it.” Violet cried out as she felt him getting close. There was no way she was going to let this end with him pulling out. She was on birth control and ached to have the closeness that his cumming inside her would bring them. “I want that so much, too,” he said, wincing and trying hard to last even just another moment. Then they both cried out. Violet was having another orgasm, and her contractions of pleasure took Shawn past the point of no return. As she clenched tightly around him, he began spilling deeply into her. He flooded her with his comforting warmth, and she came so hard just from the sensation of it that she nearly cried when it was over. She knew from that moment forward that her life would never be the same again, and it wasn’t. She was now his, always and forever.
