Exxxotica Miami Was Mutantmo’s Destination During His Ongoing Journey Of Covering Porn Events

It’s kind of a good thing when you don’t have the attention span or time to take photos of everyone or everything at a bustling convention revolving around an adored industry. That’s how great it is to be enthralled by XXX, there’s never a dull moment as it’s growing by the minute these days. With a new performer potentially becoming the next big thing or a definite fan favorite, it’s an exciting time to have active conventions in the adult industry. The Exxxotica convention was held in Miami this July and was proof of this excitement on the ground floor.

A healthy chaos of sorts as the crowds were girthy and peppered with porn stars walking the expo floor. LoyalFans had a dominant booth decked out with industry vets contrasted by vibrant vixens stepping into the industry for their time to shine. Jenna Haze returned to the show after a years-long hiatus due to her completing her pertinent studies. She graced this year’s Exxxotica in Miami for her fans to see her again. I also spotted Small Hands with his queen, Joanna Angel, chilling in the LoyalFans section. The crowd started to file in on Friday night which is a ladies-free occasion. This allows the attendance to bulk up before the more networking-focused days of the Saturday and Sunday schedules. The seminars on the upper floor were ongoing and I caught one of them as I sat among the other attentive attendees. James Bartholet’s Breaking into the Biz was where I poked my head in to see him giving valuable tips coming from decades worth of experience.

There were a few things missing or I wasn’t looking hard enough. I yearned to see the lineup of shiny butt plugs organized like missiles in a silo. The shiny sex toys were few and far between compared to previous years when they were organized like warheads on a table. Also, DVDs are understandably and sadly scarce. In this day and age of streaming and new technology, you might as well file the physical media format in the same category as VHS tapes. The DVDs I did see were from business-savvy talents that knew fans would pick a few up at their booths with the incentive of an autograph. Ray Ray was one of those said vendors as I purchased a DVD and noticed all kinds of other goodies at her table for her other fans to pick up.

The center stage housed extravagant performances that ranged from the traditional twerk contest hosted by Alexis Texas to flashy feature dances. Christiana Cinn and Rubber Doll were show stoppers attracting excited crowd reactions. The stage was magnetic as curious convention goers were turned to cheering participants as the energy bounced all over the room. The feature dancers brought everything up from sparklers on their boots, props like dildos that ejaculate fake cum, and suspension performers that had these artists floating above the heads of onlookers.
