Fanfiction is one thing. Deepfake porn is quite another. The former is written by fans to tell stories of pre-existing fictional characters engaged in romantic or sexual scenarios. It infuriates professional writers, but the latter, which non-consensually features photos and videos of real celebrities who appear to get naked and even go all the way, infuriates the people who unexpectedly discover they’re starring in porn.
