Sally Mae: Revenge of the Twin Dragons is June’s Xcritic Pick of the Month

Sally Mae: Revenge of the Twin Dragons is an Homage to Blaxploitation Cinema Through The Pornographic Arts

Adult Time is a serious contender in not only housing unique content types and fetishes but unleashing actual pornographic films into the world. Ricky Greenwood is a perfect example of a filmmaker in the porn industry that really loves his movies. Returning to the art form of Blaxploitation cinema as an obvious nod to his deep film fan nerdom. With Sally Mae: The Revenge of the Twin Dragons, Ricky Greenwood not only proves that lightning can strike twice but that art house films know no bounds, even in XXX as he now takes this series outside of the girl-girl genre.

Choosing this film as an Xcritic Pick for the month of June was an obvious choice for me since I was a fan of the first film, which was packed with lesbian scenes, and I reviewed it highly. The cast of this sequel alone calls out to the most seasoned porn fan as bringing the industry’s best black performers with some returning roles for a mixture of regular sex and girl-girl. And if you’re a fan of the first pussy only film, Sweet Sweet Sally Mae, then you’ll be happy to know it picks right up with continuing the story of Sally Mae on the run, played by the immaculate Ana Foxxx herself. The film is divided up into four episodes if you’re watching it on the Adult Time site.

The first episode has Cali Caliente and Misty Stone playing two detectives on a case revolving around the whereabouts of the film’s eponymous protagonist.  Keeping in pace with the first film before the two boy-girl scenes Cali and Misty go to town on each other with no penis in sight. Isiah Maxwell takes on Sally herself in the second episode and he is also in part three banging Alina Ali. There are plenty of callbacks to the first movie so I’d watch that before diving into any of these episodes to get the bigger picture of the unfolding plot. I also won’t spoil the explosive final episode that should be watched as if it were a XXX Netflix show.  Streaming or downloading the scenes is an option if you’re a member of Adult Time which is something a little more than what Netflix can provide.

Speaking of the plot even though there is one in this porno the story doesn’t get in the way of the sex. Ricky Greenwood knows what he’s doing as he’s a pornographer as well as a filmmaker. A perfect Xcritic Pick since it displays that filmmakers are welcome among all the wall-to-fall fuck scenes that dominate most porn. In movies like this, you can see your favorite adult film performer show off acting chops as they play unique roles. This is all because a director and crew helped deliver a product that can even be seen as better than its mainstream counterparts at times.
